We're having some tummy troubles today; praying it's nothing serious. We had a BLAST today getting to call in and participate in the class discussion. Brayden's Quote of the Day, "I really loved getting to talk to them!" There was lots of laughter on both sides of the phone and mom loved getting to see big smiles on my sweet boy. We'll try that daily (except Little Rock days) and we love that it's a way he can still interract with the class and his friends. He misses all of you!
We're working on the map and were wondering - not everyone likes to leave comments. Since I can't figure out how to add a guestbook, we thought we'd try this. But you don't have to sign up to be a follower either. Just sign this to leave a comment, click on the 'Comment As' and you can choose Anonymous. But we'd love for you to leave your name for him to see in your comment box. We'll try this and see how it goes. I know some are saying we're not posting updates enough and then I wonder if we're posting too much/too frequently. Is this still helpful for everyone? We'd love to hear from you!!

So glad you are all home, hope the tummy feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteBrayden, I'm so glad you got to interact with your classmates! That's awesome. Have you heard of Skype? You download it from the internet, then all you need is to have camera's on your computers. It's like a video camera and you can see the person you are talking to. It's wonderful and except for buying a camera, it's free. Hope the tummy is better today. Lisa, keep up the postings, I read them every morning.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless, Deb B.
Lisa, please keep doing updates. I love hearing how Brayden is doing. And I thank God everyday that he is doing so well. What an amazing kid he is. I tell Colton how Brayden is doing every night and we thank God for the positives and ask him to keep bring them your way. Last night when we were praying, after we said amen, Colton looked at me and said, mommy again. So, we started praying again.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean when you keep saying, all you can say is WOW, I have used that word a million times since April 20th. And it's the best word in this situation. I can't tell you how many times I have been left breathless or speechless since Brayden's diagnosis. The power of God amazes me and I can see it everyday through Brayden and his story. May God continue to bless you and keep you.
I know you would rather be the one that helps vs being the one that needs help. But occasionally even those of us who like to be the helpers need someone to catch us when we think we are about to fall. I know you have been that person for me and I promise, if you need me, I will catch you before you fall.
Love you guys with all my heart!

Yes, pleeeeeeeeeease keep posting! It's the only thing keeping Nini sane, since you're in isolation & I haven't been able to see you! I think of them as love letters from you & Mommy so Nini knows what's going on. It made my whole week to get to talk to you on the phone the other day!!!! I have been missing you oodles & oodles! I just try to not call much because I know you need your rest & I know your phone must be ringing off the hook with all the people who love you! Hugs & kisses ~ Nini Nett
ReplyDeleteKeep the updates coming!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your updates! You all are so brave! I'm just amazed. I pray for you all everyday. It blesses my heart to read your prayers and praises to God. I want you to know that the members of FBC Lowell are still praying for you all. I get asked all the time how you are doing by people who don't know you at all but they are praying for you. I pray God blesses you with strength, courage, peace and, of course, renewed health.

How is it that you can be at home and still touch so many people and bring laughter into all of our lives? It just goes to show the amazing person that you are and the amazing son that you are raising. Bray I am so proud of you. You're made of some pretty tough stuff! Thank you for keeping all of us updated and I can't wait for another light saber battle!

We prayer for you every night. I ask Drake if he wants to say any special prayers and you are always on top of the list. I printed your blog so I could show him your pictures and read your story to him.

I'm praying for your health Brayden. Beat your mom in uno (lol). I love the bead.
ReplyDeletePraying for you today. Pray for Bray Day. My son (Greg 18yrs old) was in ACH for a month starting March 27th to remove a cancerous brain tumor (medulloblastoma). He is now getting radiation treatments at CARTI for six weeks and then chemo for eight months. God has the victory if we know him as our Saviour no matter the outcome on the earth. We of all people as christians have HOPE. Brad Jones Supt. Fayetteville Christian School.
