Here is a peek at life at ACH...

What is T-Cell ALL?

- Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a blood cancer of the white blood cells, the cells in the body that normally fight infections.
- Brayden's type (T-Cell) is a rarer form of ALL that required Brayden to be typed as High-Risk and be placed on a highly aggressive, "High-Risk" form of Chemotherapy treatment protocol. T-Cell form of ALL accounts for only about 450 cases each year in the US.
- At the time of his diagnosis, Brayden was found to have Leukemia cells present in his spinal fluid (brain cancer) at Level 2 (3 being the highest level). He is being treated with a separate chemo regimen for those cells as well to prevent relapse.
- Brayden's High-Risk treatment protocol includes 3 years of aggressive Chemotherapy as well as radiation.

We don't yet know why and may never. We know this is going to be a tough journey for all of us and I wish I could take it all and carry it for Brayden. We've been told this treatment will continue for a while and we're here to fight and hopefully walk the journey in the light of God's love and His grace and His healing.

Brayden's Wish List

There are so many things we used to do that we certainly took for granted. Being at home in isolation has definitely brought up some requests that we can't fulfill right now. BUT - we had an idea to have Brayden make a list and then when he gets better, we can start crossing them off, one by one!

- Go back to Tanyard Creek and do the hiking trail again
- Go fishing with dad again
- Use up my Fast Lane gift card I got from my birthday bowling party
- Chuck E. Cheese to use up my tokens and tickets I saved
- Party with friends and family once I can see you guys!
- Visit Grandma Sue & Grandma Bernadine (his great-grandma's that he'd been asking to see before the diagnosis. Oh how we wish we would have MADE the time for the visit)
- Play ball in the front yard with dad barefoot
- Go to the movies
- Visit the Capital Building in Little Rock
- Go to a baseball game again (Naturals or Razorbacks)
- Go back to Branson to use those season passes!
